Understanding the "Feet-to-Foot" rule
The "Feet-to-Foot" rule is aimed at preventing overheating, thought
to be one of the main contributory factors of cot death. Making
the baby's bed up at the bottom of the cot prevents the baby from
being able to slide under the blankets.
Why should you use a Safababy Sleeper?
The Safababy Sleeper is effectively a barrier that can be placed
across the cot thus bringing the foot of the cot nearer the top.
Baby can then be put to bed in a smaller area, providing security
and comfort. The baby is also less likely to snuggle under the
bedclothes or "ride" up the cot and out from the bedding getting
cold. As baby grows one simply repositions the Safababy Sleeper
further down the cot.
